infoComm International, the trade association representing the commercial audiovisual industry, is pleased to announce that Microsoft will be a new exhibitor at InfoComm 2014, the world’s largest audiovisual trade show. Microsoft will be a platinum show sponsor occupying significant exhibit space in the Las Vegas Convention Center June 18-20, 2014.

Did you know that HR Professionals Expect Video Conferencing to be Their Preferred Communications Tool in 2016?
98 percent of Human Resources executives surveyed say video conferencing helps companies defy distance and break down cultural barriers to improve productivity.
– Move toward video provides advantages for talent management, staffing, training, productivity and flexible work enablement.
Proving that the benefits of video for HR functions are well understood, the survey of business decision makers in 12 countries revealed that almost all (98 percent) of the HR executives participating in the survey believe video conferencing removes distance barriers and improves productivity between teams in different cities and countries.
IMAGINE IF ALL THESE APPS COULD BE USED SIDE-BY-SIDE
There’s no logical reason why the iPad shouldn’t be able to do split-screen multitasking as well as the tablet, and with iOS 8 the feature might actually arrive.
That’s what 9to5Mac is saying after speaking with “sources with knowledge of the enhancement in development.”
With Apple’s next major iOS update, these sources said, the iPad will gain the ability to use two applications simultaneously, each taking up one half of the tablet’s screen.
The iPad may be the leader in the tablet space, but this is one thing it could definitely learn from Microsoft’s Surface.
